About Granite State Metal Roofing
Granite State Metal Roofing is a free matching service for New Hampshire homeowners planning a standing seam metal roof. It is operated by Compass Camper LLC, an Oregon-registered marketing company doing business as Compass Lead Group. We are not a roofing contractor and we do not perform roofing work.
What we actually do
We publish researched, cited information about metal roofing in New Hampshire: snow loads, costs, system choices, and how to check out a roofer in a state with no contractor licensing. When a homeowner asks for a match, we forward that request to an independent local metal roofing professional who serves their area. The professional contacts the homeowner directly, provides the quote, signs the contract, and performs the work. Our role ends at the introduction.

What we ask of the professionals we match
New Hampshire issues no state contractor or roofing license of any kind (the state licenses electricians, plumbers, gas fitters, fuel oil, and mechanical trades only, per the Office of Professional Licensure and Certification). So instead of pointing at a credential that does not exist, we ask the professionals we work with to meet objective marks a homeowner can verify:
- Carry current general liability insurance, with a certificate of insurance available on request from the insurer.
- Provide written, itemized estimates before any work, and written contracts on every job. New Hampshire's residential construction statute, RSA 359-G, attaches a dispute-resolution notice obligation to contracts over $5,000.
- Offer manufacturer material warranties and written workmanship warranties on completed standing seam work.
- Have checkable references from prior metal roofing jobs.
